Radiant Dressup

NOTE: this game contains representations of self harm scars, done in a purely visual/aesthetic context to follow my own art habits and to help destigmatize the presence of self harm scars in general audiences. this is not meant to be glorifying or romanticizing self destructive tendencies and habits but a simple reminder of a physical element denoting struggles present in a significant part of the population. since i felt too weak mentally and physically to keep doing Ultratober, i thought i could try challenging myself somewhat to making a little dressup game with Gabriel from Ultrakill, since that has been an idea in my mind for quite a while now.

the project was done in around two days, and unfortunately due to poor time management i wasn't able to implement more outfits or make the visuals a little more lively or find a track to play in the background maybe... please excuse me for that! (i know there are entirely too many bunnysuit options and WAYYY too many stockings options...  )

the plan would however be to add a few more outfits whenever i can, be it when i have free time or when a celebration or event happens, though the most important update for now would be to add some of the outfits Gabriel has been seen wearing in official art as well as his usual armor set, as well as figure out how to improve the hitboxes and then maybe i'll try to think more about what else to add...

overall this was pretty much inspired by the simple dressup games i used to play as a child, i just wanted to give it a Gabriel twist since i do enjoy thinking of such things, admittedly. 

Knock on wood i'll be able to update fast enough, and thank you for giving this a quick look! you can send a screenshot of the fit you gave Gabriel if you'd like, i'd love to see what you came up with (at least with how limited it is at the moment... ha...). For a better experience, maybe playing an extended version of the musical box version of The Fire is Gone from the ost might help... but yeah lol
